Counsellor vs. Psychologist

A counsellor is someone who provides therapy, support, and coping advice while typically holding a master's degree. Counsellors are often used for people with less severe symptoms of mental health issues and/or disorders. Psychologists, on the other hand, typically hold a PhD and is able to provide diagnostics. Psychologists are used typically for people with more severe symptoms.
